ECOTOURISM GUIDED TOUR
Timandra Garden : 82 Windham St., Narrawong, Victoria
Sunday 18th November at 2pm
Join Alison for a visual tour showcasing the principles of a sustainable garden; from the original development of the garden under the Aplin ownership, to current-day maintenance practices. This is a detailed professional guided tour from one of Australia’s leading sustainable landscape designers, where patrons will learn through viewing and hearing the ‘why do we need sustainable gardens’ to ‘how do we achieve sustainable gardens’? So passionate is Alison about the true sustainable approach, that you will understand at the end of the tour the integrity of Alison’s design ethos. The tour will take at least 1 hour so patrons are asked to wear sensible shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather.
Included in the tour price of $25 per head will be Devonshire Teas at the end and the Alison Aplin Art Gallery will also be open for viewing totally different abstract art. Patrons are asked to be on time for the tour at 10am and to congregate at the end of the driveway by the arbour, ready to participate. Each person will take a package away with them outlining much of what is discussed during the session.
